Red Sift Hires Chuck Swenberg as SVP of Strategy

Red Sift, the only integrated cloud email and brand protection platform, is opening two points of operations in the US – San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX – to serve its accelerating client base in North America. The expansion will be led by newly appointed SVP of Strategy, Chuck Swenberg, a security veteran with expertise in threat intelligence and email security.

The announcement comes on the heels of the company’s membership in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and it’s recent Series A funding round, partly supported by In-Q-Tel, Inc., the non-profit strategic investor to U.S. intelligence and defense agencies.

Furthermore, Red Sift has just been invited by the US Department of Homeland Security to become an approved supplier to the US Government and its suppliers via the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program.

“Red Sift has a compelling vision to apply its next generation cloud security platform to address email security as email continues to evolve as one of the largest and most vulnerable attack vectors. The ability to integrate applications on a scalable, computational platform while applying AI technologies elevates Red Sift to a small group of industry players truly disrupting the infosec space,” said Chuck Swenberg, SVP Strategy, Red Sift.

“Chuck’s IT security pedigree and background in email is outstanding and the board at Red Sift is delighted to welcome him to the team as we accelerate our push into the North American market,” said Rahul Power, CEO and co-founder, Red Sift. “Chuck’s experience and proven track record in building business strategy, partnerships and growth will be invaluable to Red Sift as we take our commitment of democratizing cybersecurity for all to new markets.”

Randal Pinto, COO and co-founder, Red Sift added, “Our physical expansion into the US marks a milestone moment for Red Sift and comes in response to increased demand for our technology in the region. As we kick off 2020, we will continue to grow our presence in both San Francisco and Austin, with Chuck leading the way. Additionally, our US operations will be bolstered by engineering capabilities coming out of our new, devops-focused Barcelona office.”
